Once the Gaddafi government was dealt with, Libya was unable to perform normal state functions as a result of the conflict damaging the country. The Libyan government requested the US maintain it's presence for an additional year. Obama wanted the US to maintain it's presence for an additional year. Congress rejected the proposal, forcing the US to pull out, resulting in the failure of Libya and all those consequences. Except, it wasn't "congress." It was Republicans. Democrats voted 115 for, 70 against. Republicans voted 8 for, 225 against. THE CURRENT STATE OF LIBYA IS THE FAULT OF REPUBLICANS. The starvation in Yemen is basically exclusively caused by Saudi Arabia. The US contributions to the naval blockade is focused on ensuring ships aren't trafficking weapons into Yemen. Saudi Arabia are the ones destroying food production and preventing humanitarian aid. Furthermore, basically all of this happened during Trump's administration, and despite congress voting to end US support, Trump vetoed it. In what way did they block Americans receiving medicare for all? In what way did Obama make a joke of black people being poisoned with lead? Was it when he drank the water to try to calm people down and minimize panic? No. Democrats want you to believe the reality that Trump and Republicans are the BIGGEST problems. Democrats are flawed, but they consistently prove they generally are concerned with the welfare of average working class Americans. Republicans consistently lie to the poor and then turn around and steal from the working class and pass it along to the rich. The screeching at the end was just dumb.
