We do not give cats the credit they deserve!! They are hyper vigilant about those they love. When ever I am not feeling well, my cats shower me with attention...they sleep super close, even if they never have before. I love dogs, they are amazing in there own right. Dogs have domesticated for thousands of years, cats only for 200. Cats are not aloof, uncaring or good at being left by themselves for long periods of time. They get very anxious when their love giver is gone for long periods of time! You can not leave out food and water and leave on vacation like I thought long time ago.
