Will this perhaps open up a little easier sales to the EU?

You can take the ryobi tools and throw them right into the forge

... Good luck with the Ryobi. I have been burned by "budget" friendly tools a lot. For example, I went from cheapest to 2nd cheapest, to top brand drill all over a short span. The 1st one the wiring smoked, the 2nd one kept over heating. Basically, it's a risk. If you don't have to replace it, it's a good buy. But if you do, obviously it wasn't.

5:36 mikrotik all the way. i tried the sxt but found lhg to be the "proper proper" one. even sxt is now updated from the old and somewhat glitchy 3-7 version, and ships with better radio modems like r11-lte6

I kinda just dropped off the channel a month or two after the Montana move and now that you're back in the UK I find myself into blacksmithing videos again. Really funny how that happens

I think it would be a cool idea to wire up all your lights to work with a Google Home(or the equivalent), so that way you could manage the lighting of your shop a little more easily.

i'm genuinely amazed how far you have come Alec, first stumbled across you when you was around 300-400k, never looked back, there isn't enough young people following older ways and methods..keep up the great work!

I've been fascinated by carpentry lately and looked a lot into workbenches. I find your utilitarian approach very refreshing; I think the irony is that woodworkers needlessly complicate the humble workbench because they feel like they have something to prove but it's not that hard to assemble a sturdy bench. A workbench should just... work.

Cheap saw tip: When you're cutting adjust the saw blade to about 5mm larger than what's being cut. You'll be amazed about the difference, and it also helps you keep from twisting between the cut line, binding on the 2 pieces.
Måned sidenMarcus Webb
Resubscribed now you don’t have that annoying American kid on the channel

Sorry if this has been asked but what multi tool do you carry? I looks like a Leatherman charge ti but not exactly? I only ask as I am always evaluating better multi tools for my everyday work.
Måned sidenFried Pi 3.14159
Ryobi makes good tools. I’ve been using them for years. A saw binding doesn’t mean the tool is bad. It means the operator is using the tool improperly.
Måned sidenyasio bolo
Is that a leatherman p2 or p4
Måned sidenmandarb1021
TTI holdings in Hong Kong owns Ryobi, Ridgid and Milwaukee. BOLTR on YouTube does tool reviews and has shown that info.

Ryobi is not bad. I broke something and they sent me some free stuff. None of it broke. So I kept buying Ryobi stuff. Still, none of it broke. Not sure why the one thing broke but it seems to be a one off thing.
Måned sidenJordan Mavins
The last time I watched a video here he was making the saber. A lot has changed in just 30 seconds of this video.

there is a reason that Ryobi are hundred of pounds cheaper....they are hundreds of pounds shitter!!
Måned sidenDrackar
I've used ryobi tools for a while. Because I needed tools cheap in a hurry. The only things that have died on me? One battery, and one chainsaw. But yeah. Not as much power as some other brands.

Måned sidenFlick
Ryobi are great low cost residential type tools. Definitely won’t get the same longevity out of them as a Milwaukee or Makita with the stuff you do, but they get the job done and are good value for the price
Måned sidenCrepticMoon
Ryobi tools definitely are not bad, but I still prefer Porter Cable/DeWalt
Måned sidenMatt Evans
Handy tip, you can get Ryobi compatible batteries for like half the price of OEM

if you want mobile walls build em like hollywood do, 1X3 frame sheeted in luan, lightweight and not expensive
Måned sidenKevin Freeman
Gotta be better set up cutting plywood!! If you have both sides supported like that it's sure to bind up your saw near the end of the cut. That's why it bound, not the ryobi. Suuuper dangerous with possible kickback.

Never ever go cheap on tools. It’s gonna fail you, and annoy you. And when you buy them again, they fail you again and any you even more And when you finally buy the good tools, you’ll be so pissed that actually working with them is a lot less fun that at the start.
Måned sidenMonchoYT
Im just really proud of watching Alec grow so much since the very beginning, hearing him being married is....wow....congratulations!🙌🏽💪🏽
Måned sidenJason Yates
Glad to see you guys branching out. Hope that you have many more years of success!
Måned sidenkuhrd
Most of the cordless power tool kits include the small batteries that droop really quickly in voltage when you put them under a sustained load. If you have the bigger batteries they tend to work much better because the load is distributed across more cells. The big batteries (4 and 6 Ah) also store more energy so they last longer between charges since they handle the voltage droop better before the BMS kicks out.
Måned sidenAilsa Ni
Does this mean the Colin Furze colab is back on ?!?
