@Deus Gaming what do you mean the not the same? so chain cap is not chain damage max?. is it a max for damage of a cap at the end of say like a 29 chain?

@eaz sent 200% tdw is the max for any unit. It's not the same as chain cap.

@Deus Gaming so basicly 1x is 100% and 6x is 600% right? also so is it like tdw magic cap at 400% but a new unit or stmr can get up to 600% tdw? but the difference is 200 chain modifier is for chaining damage boost cap..right?.

@eaz sent 200% chain modifier is just the 6x chain cap, remember all units start with 4x as I said in this video. So 2x more is 6x.

um i got a question i probly should know the answer to its a common mechanic term..which theres more im sure i dont know..is mods or example 200% chain modifier what does that mean. its not like a atk or mag damage multiplier right?

Didn´t have any luck on Raegen and Laswell, but got Akstar/Cleome. Today also got Lightning. Do you think it´s worth using Akstar/Cleome with Lightnings STMR as a LB damage chainer? Or, damagewise, just use Lightning instead? Thanks, appreciate your efforts!

Cleome & Akstar are better as a ability finisher in their BS with that cooldown, I showed off how to use them in their review videp.

Lassgen..his LB has 145x damage mod..which is highest so far..and also could gear for 300% dragon & beast killer passive..very good to clear almost all of newest harder trials..sadly i dont get them..sigh..i never get newest NV..only rotate between edel, elena, firion, cloud, akstar, rain, aerith

Lasswell & Raegen are able to be a chainer or finisher, where as Cleome & Akstar are more about the finish in their BS form. Check out my reviews and demonstrations on any of them

Got her on tickets without spending any lapis so I can save for Snow or Noctis. It sucks with her shield she cant have that high attack since you cant get tdh or tdw with shield equipped. I thought initially she would have tdw but with shield. Got my waifu tho so I am happy

Ok so her chain cap increase STmr raises chaining damage, got it. But what about finishers does it help them too. I’m still blurry on those chain caps affect them since they are only hitting one time.

It does. Lunafreya's finish is absolutely affected by it, I tested it myself before.

Is Lightning’s stmr more effective than killers though, especially in units that won’t cap killers, tdh/tdw and stat passives unless they use that extra slot used for the stmr. I saw a post on Reddit, but it seemed pretty nebulous and convoluted to me.

@Dreamer It will have a passive to have another 100%, or it will have a passive (most tdw units have this) to have an extra 200%. Lightning Savior is the only one to have an extra 100% but there will be others.

@Deus Gaming I don't understand, how can i know the chain cap of a unit ? If all start with 400x base , how can i know my units if it's more?

@Deus Gaming they should’ve added like a low killer to everything on it then. It’s definitely not worth lapis, it’d be nice to offbanner and use a spare super moggle on though.

I said at the end that it won't, this is for units that can get all of that pretty quickly.

#Returns I think the hype is also here because it's an NV on top of two NVAs. Also agreed on the break differences, because the damage itself is multiplicative. So one percent difference...on top of killers, elemental debuffs, buffs, etc. can add up on just that 1% differential per turn.

#returns I have 2 questions, number one does a killer ability used in battle stack if you already have 300% with equipment and espers??? And number two, how would you compare a 100% chain cap to a 50% killer? Like if I have one slot left on a unit...thanks for the videos as always :)

Fill out killers before using lightning's stmr, I mentioned that at the end... and in battle killer buffs are seperate from gear killers

You make great videos! As a small unsolicited suggestion, I would have loved a good comparison to equipping a killer. So, if I switched her STMR for say a 50% killer, which would be better? #returns For example, in your demo, if you removed any piece of equipment or materia, we would expect damage to drop right? So it would be really cool to see a comparison like how would this STMR compare to a killer or to an extra 100% tdh equip attack/mag. Just something to really put the tradeoffs in perspective to think about when it will be useful for those that can't always max killers, TDH, and still have an open materia slot. Thanks for the video though!

Killers will always be better than it (which I said at the end, I am pretty sure!) this STMR is best used when you already have maxed out on killers (and tdh and lb dmg if needed) so you get an even bigger boost.

I have a quick question. I've remember you referring to some units as having a 7x modifier like Tifa and Dark Fina & Sol. Am I misunderstanding their ability? The text on the wiki says, " Increase chain modifier for normal chain (100%)" and the text for the dual wield increase says, "Increase chain modifier cap (200%) when dual wielding " So is there a difference between the chain modifier and the chain modifier cap? I thought that the modifier increase ability just started their chains with a higher modifier, but that they still capped at 6x, not 7x. Do I understand that correctly, or can those units actually reach a 7x cap when dual weilding?

TIfa, NV OK & Dark Fina & Sol basically get a head start on their chaining compared to other units. Not a lot of units have this (like I mentioned, just three) so it's not heavily defined.

As pretty, hot, and tempting as Lightning can be I think I have to save for noctis.

mmmm i think that the best banners of the future will be lunafreya and zidane , although we need the updated tidus for that ... as much as you could like noctis , i think that the enhanced 7 stars will be a lot better and accessible
