Aight I'm gonna vent right now, don't mind me (it's not upsetting, something really cool happened). So today I was talking with my friends and we started discussing crushes. I had a crush on my friend for like a year and I thought it'd be a good time to tell them, and I did, and they also had a crush on me and I was super super happy, now we're dating. But that's not the end. We told the rrest of our friends (we talked about this in dms) and my other friend was like 'ok but I still love my boyfriend but I have a crush on you and I used to have a crush on Emma (my girlfriend).' And I said 'oh well me and Emma used to have a crush on you so like us two and you and your boyfriend can be in a polyamorous relationship, and he said sure I'll go ask them! I was almost crying- his boyfriend said yes, and now all 4 of us are in a happy relationship and while it's only 3:50, this has been the best day of my life and I couldn't be happier.

I was bummed I didn't read the books first either once I had read them. I read them all after seeing the 5th movie and now, seeing my cousin read them and how surprised she is by everything that happen, I feel like I missed out a little by already knowing what happens for most of the books.

I'm a leftie but as a kid I got tired of moving the mouse to the left and back again every time I used the computer at home so I am now more comfortable using the mouse with my right hand. So much so in fact that I got annoyed at my leftie BIL not moving the mouse back to the right after he was done with the computer xD

Honestly I would play any pack from Sims that featured lore / storylines from Plumbella.

I was supposed to be a leftie, but my teacher thought I was demonic and made me use my right. Now I am like the opposite of ambidextrous. I do half the things I do (eg. sports) with my left and other things with my right. I cannot fully rely on one hand and am useless

I was bullied for using my left hand, my mom says. I was young. Thankfully don't remember. But I clearly remember drawing and writing with both hands since I was young. I still can do many of the same things with either hand.

my mum was a lefty and so is my son. mum got hit a few times the day she started school, she told nan at home time. as soon as my nan found out she saw red. muttering something about fools and superstitions nobody hits her daughter she went into mum's school and made it clear her daughter would never be hit again by them, mum doesn't know what nan did or said to that teacher but she apparently scared the daylights out of the teacher plenty and mum never got hit by a teacher at that school again. "they say they believe in god and he doesn't make mistakes so why are they hitting you for a god given trait? don't let anybody tell you you can't, you will find your limits yourself" the left hand isn't bad or evil how can it be? it's where your heart line is, apparently it's because of this direct connection to the heart, a symbol of love, life and passion, we put our wedding rings on it.

Uhm, two questions, did you go to school in 1940? And/or do you live in a weird country where they’re still allowed to do bullshit like that? That would make me angry af as a mom if a teacher tried to pull that shit with my kid, and in my country the teacher would be blasted on the news and probably fired.

I'm a bit wobbly when it comes to using a mouse with my left hand, due to a lack of practice, but I can definitely do it (I've actually been trying to do it more since it makes more sense given my handedness). It's just easier to not deal with switching things around, especially if I am sharing a computer with someone, since with one exception my entire family is right handed. As for scissors, yeah, I am not in the same boat as you there. I'm not sure I could use them with my right hand. I think a lot of it has to do with being blessed with parents who encouraged me to use my left hand for everything since I am left handed and a mom who homeschooled me and taught me to write with my left hand despite being right handed herself. I am thankful for the support system I had growing up as a left handed kid. Sure there are issues with being left handed in a right handed world. You can't borrow someone's glove when playing baseball/softball. Sometimes scissors are blatantly difficult to use for left handed people . . . I use them with my left hand anyway, but they can be uncomfortable. Things are getting better for lefties which is nice to see and makes me happy.
