This build reminds me of a place in Dunbar called the store which has been converted into a little cafe and farm shop. Then outside there's a play park for kids and strawberry poly tunnels where you can go and pick fresh fruit!

Putting the jungle gym thing inside was surprisingly inspired! And yes, more options for child hobbies would be nice -- I want the lemonade stand from Sims 2 back myself. That was fun, and a great way for kids to earn a little money! Or what about their muffin oven? Please, EA, stop making us rely on mods for that sort of thing!

The build mode and CAS modes are so amazing in the sims 4, they are rich with content and things to do, however i find that as soon as you are done with those modes and head into live mode the gameplay is incredibly shallow and i find myself getting bored extremely quickly due to a lack of anything to do and no interesting random little events happening to peak my interest. Anyone else feel the same way? Also can anyone recommend things to do in live mode that might help me to stop getting bored so quickly.

You make such a point about the "softplay". In the US, we don't use that phrase but I know what you mean. Like an indoor play area. They're very common in malls here and also places like Chuck E Cheese and children's play centers. There's one near where I grew up as a kid called "SeaBase" that was so fun as a child and I want stuff like that for the kiddos! Like those huge tubes you crawl though as a kid and there's little puzzles in them and plastic windows and slides.. gosh the dream. We just need so many more play things for kids in TS4. I want to see see-saws, I want to see merry-go-rounds, I want to see hopscotch, I want to see TAG... just let me relive my childhood EA! 😭😭

Holy crap, this was what I was thinking of doing with this community lot too! I live in a rural town in Australia, but we have an industrial estate and there's a kid's indoor play park there too with the soft fall (what we call it) and I thought this building would suit it perfectly! Love what you've done with it Jess! Looks fab

I think sims4 has turned into a building game than a gameplay because the gameplay is too boring for me and whenever I play with a family, I can’t get satisfied with it. I would mention the unbearable lag but I’m going to replace my computer

no lie, ya's making me wanna move from the NW to the NE (I really despise my town's past. I'm from Blackpool and it's a tourist trap that's basically fallen into disrepair. drugs and nightclubs are its only stable industry now and I've always h8ed it. it's not Blackpool's fault tho, but it do be making me runaway from the area and get further & further east)
