maybe they push you to make videos that appease a hive-mind mentality; that's not necessarily good for any of us. Or, they're influencing you to reinforce the trends. That's also not good for us. Diversity of content provides more information than paradigms.

So. I found your channel through Daniel, don’t wanna bring up any wishwashy memories, but damn you were so funny, so I thought, yeah I’ll watch her videos. and I know this video is a couple months old, but you’re so relatable. I’m an over-sharer too. And I just wanna tell you that I am grateful for your existence. Thanks for being you. I’m sorry about the mental health. It’s a bitch. I’ve had depression and anxiety for years and everything you’ve said about it is completely accurate. It’s like my brain sees the logic but my body is so anxious that it doesn’t recognize anything. Anyways. Thanks for oversharing. I needed it.

I am a certified mental health professional and the stigma surrounding mental health feeds a very negative social perspective which believes that mental health conditions are "attention seeking" or "pretend." However, if folx would take a moment to search for one of the millions of peer reviewed articles and medical documents which explain the role of serotonin function and stress hormones in the brain, they will learn the reality of what you're saying, that it is in fact a "chemical imbalance" and taking breaks is hugely important, valuable, and brave. Those breaks play an important role in regaining that balance by allowing your brain to deescalate the cortisol (stress hormone) and slow down the parasympathetic nervous system; to allow serotonin to recoup, and alongside that, for you to regain a sense of control. For some, tablets or medications are a necessary element to support this natural function, not all brains are able to do this alone and there's no shame in that. It's like asking someone with cancer to heal it without medical intervention. You have a massive power in your introspection and ability to agree with your body's request for time off. Please ignore the negativity if you can, and if you can't, please also remind yourself that there are many who support you and adore you, and their care for you outweighs the negativity by far.

Love you Plumbella! I'm already sold on your content anyway, so whatever you do, take care of yourself! We won't be happy to watch your channel if your not happy working at it! I'm happy that you've got a good support system! You don't owe us anything, so make sure what you do is for your own well being rather than ours, we'll be glad to go along on the journey wherever you take it! You're perfect just the way you are. Much strength and good, loving vibes to you! P.S.: I have depression and anxiety. I can't read books anymore ever since my mother died, but I recently listened to all seven of the HP books and it was so comforting and soothing. I really recommend if you think that could help you feel good!

Show us how to build basement varieties with side door and split stairs in the sims 3. Ive been trying to make the house i live in for a while with no luck. I like the sims 3 the best...sims 2 and 1 were amazing when they came out though. Have only played the sims 4 a few times but sims 3 is still my favourite. Keep your head up and keep making videos!

I'm a stay at home mom so there isn't much to do with a toddler during this pandemic. So it's definitely challenging. This has also had me feeling like I do too much and not enough at the same time. I have anxiety too but it has amplified since becoming a mom. I get you on everything you discussed and I appreciate you for being open about it. Plumbella Darling😊 , i watched all the 22:11 minutes and could not agree more, as a fellow Simtuber , I can understand that it can be so annoying and bummer to see those 10 ranking videos and see a fresh video you just made that you think is amazing, stuck at the 7-8-9-10 spot , I can understand you , you think it's not good , you think maybe are not good ,that people maybe don't like ya, but you don't know how WRONG you are thinking that! First of all , just know, the average ratio (that youtube counts as good ration) of Subscribers to views, is 10% That means that on every video you get 55k views at the start (first few days) you NAILED it and it's a good video, the trick is, just not to try and take the 10 ranking video to the point of thinking "it's on the 10th spot with only 100k views so they didn't like me" NO, that's not the point of the 10 ranking list, the idea in that list is to show YOU what content that YOU made (and yes, you need to make the content YOU enjoy, cos we love you for who YOU are) the audience enjoyed more, but it's from the stuff YOU enjoy to make, so it can give ya a hand figuring what the audience loved more to watch but from the stuff YOU did enjoy to make.. And second, Take a deeeeeeeeeeeeep breath ... third, I hope I was clear, I am better at speaking than writing in English 😜 Stay awesome dear 😊💪

What sucks about YT, and other social media like FB, Twitter & Instagram is that it is a popularity contest. It is not about the content, the quality, the creativity, the energy you bring to it, it is about popularity - and that is the metric they drive towards to make money. If you are not popular you are not valued in their eyes. So Plumbella make content that brings you joy, unless your end game is to be popular (I watched up to 16:33 when I decided to comment). I have a few channels that I started and it is strange, this channel I am commenting from is my personal channel where I just watch YT and the videos I uploaded I didn't intend for folks to watch and those videos are watched the most. The videos I spend days planning and hours recording and days editing I get low views, they don't show up high in search results and I decided I was not going to drive myself crazy. I am not popular, millions don't know me and follow me religiously so I won't ever matter to YT. So, what I will make content I like, that brings me joy and post it and to hell with the bean counters

I don’t really do youtube much but I love watching you! Your so real and I love you for it. Im 31 now and had my first panic attack when I was 30. It lasted 2 weeks non stop. it was such a dark time, I thought my throat was closing and I wasn’t getting enough air. I lived in flight mode for all that time and it was exhausting. I didn’t understand or comprehend anxiety till I experienced it myself. I have had flare ups since and couldn’t cope so I went to the doctor which Im so glad I did. I would go again if I needed. I wish it could be turned off, there is no trigger and sometimes I don’t even think Im worried it just comes on. You are amazing! Keep being you and be kind to yourself. As someone who struggled with depression and anxiety for years I can tell you this. For me it was stress about life and money that caused it and with that came social anxiety. I really don't believe in the "chemical imbalance", that it just happens and then you get depressed. You get depression or anxiety for a reason. Nothing to do with the brain. And it's your depression or whatever that obviously makes you less happy so you don't produce the happy hormones anymore. Sure pills can help for some people but I only got worse and had breakdowns on pills. Pills also only stop your symptoms it doesn't cure you. That's why alot of people breakdown after they stop or they eat pills for the rest of their lifes. After I stopped I felt so much better cause I started just working on myself. And it's really important to check all vitals. I too had severe pms but it stopped after I got on vitamins, ashwagandha(KSM 66) and stopped eating sugar. But I would say that feeling loved and having someone to talk to is the most important thing. Also being able to realx. Seriously. Best of luck to you!

Whether it’s sims or bratz or whatever you feel like at the time 😂 you have such an amazing personality it is honestly what caught my attention( but I also love the content and your editing!!) and now I never miss a video 😊

Respect for you honey! Just stand up for yourself, do your own thing, it's defenitly not about the numbers. Ans being honest like this is such a beautiful thing. I follow you here and on twitch but I am also very busy and for example in therapy myself so I don't usually have time to watch your or anyone's in the first 24 hours. Then when I do have the time I binch watch a whole pile of them. So those numbers like you said change and shouldn't matter. Moral of this story is you are a beautiful person, who deals with a lot like most of us do. But you don't always get to do it in private or even your own time fraim. Respect the hell out of you, being so honest in this video. I am sorry you lost a person so dear to you. Take all the time healing you need and make video's that put a smile on your face. We'll be here to watch, or at least one of us. Everything works out in the end is what I always tell myself. Life isn't meant to be easy. Love your content, big fan of you in general. And your parents, you always make me laugh. Keep being amazing, you got this and yes I am sorry for writing you a comment the size of a book. 😅🤭

I have terrible social anxiety to the point I'll have a nice interaction with someone, doesn't matter if it's online, in person, on the phone, etc but later I'll be doing something and out of nowhere my mind is like "Remember that conversation we had earlier???" then just start attacking me with things like "God they think you're stupid because you stumbled on your words" or things like that. I know full well the person I talked to doesn't actually think that, but anxiety doesn't care and just keeps going off about how horrible the whole situation was. Then it ends up becoming a conflict where I know it wasn't a bad situation, but now it feels like it was. It's at the point where I don't like to use a phone or anything where I can't see the other person unless I absolutely have to because at least if I can see them I can get some sort of idea what they're thinking from body language. I prefer to just avoid any and all social situations really except with people I do enjoy talking to which would be the few good friends I have, family, etc. Everyone tries to push me to get on medication and such, but those are so terrifying to even think of let alone take. I've found things that help me a lot, but I just need to now find a career that would be good for me.. I've thought of doing things like streaming on Twitch (since I absolutely LOVE gaming), and it does sound fun in theory, but anxiety still triggers a bit and makes me think it'll be a horrible experience.. I need to try and get a friend to do it with me or something, at least at first, to help lessen the 'burden'. If anyone sees this and has suggestions on jobs, please do tell. I see too many jobs that require phones and instantly become petrified..

Not to be rude or anything, but I feel when people say things like "You just need to be thankful for your job! You don't need a break. I slave away.." and such it really just means that because of how they "slave away" they never really notice their mental health.. They'll be on a steady downhill slope never really realizing it because they "slave away", and they only realize it once it's at that breaking point. Mental health is something EVERYONE needs to pay attention to and do something about.. if you're fortunate enough to take a break from your job, no matter what type of job that is, then take it. If not, find other things you can do with that downtime you have to just recharge and fix yourself.

Thank you for being honest! People need to be more open about mental health to know it's normal and not be shamed to reach out to those who support you.

It’s so good to hear you’re feeling better 💜💜💜 Using your platform to speak about mental health is so important and I hope it encourages your fans that may be struggling to reach out and get help too! And screw that ranking system, if you’re making the content that you want and you’re enjoying doing it, that’s all that matters. I definitely prefer content where the creator gets to be creative and have fun, and I’m sure so many others do too!

Do people think youtubers are puppets that can just keep working? I work from home and its really hard for me to take breaks and find routine. You always feel guilty when you’re taking a break and tired when you’re working longer hours. It’s much easier to work at a workplace and come home and relax. Home becomes a source of pressure because you’re reminded of work all the time. It makes people who suffer from anxiety much worse. People who tell you you should be grateful should try working from home for a year and report back on how ‘easy’ it is,

i think i speak for lots of people when i say how nice it is to hear honest, unfiltered discussion about mental health and just how ugly it can be. it isn't neatly packaged with a pretty little bow on top. it is so often crippling, and horrendous to be the one dealing with it. as someone who struggles with depression, anxiety, and a couple other things, this video felt like a breath of fresh air. i haven't been following you for very long because i am not personally someone who plays the sims, but i love your content because you are so open and honest about your struggles. as much as it may come off to you as over sharing, i think doing that can be immensely important. not everything can be filtered and pretty, sometimes the things that have to be said need to be raw. i greatly appreciate that. i'm glad to hear that you've taken the time you need, because /you/ are more important than anything else. i'm terribly sorry for your loss, and i hope that your family also has the time they need to grieve and mourn. we all love you very much, and for every shitty insensitive comment you get about your situation, there are 10s, if not 100s more that are in support of your decisions. thank you for being so open, as much as it may hurt. thank you for speaking out about your mental health. we're glad that you're back

When I’m low I have to force myself to eat as well, sometimes I do comfort eat too but depending on the type of down mood and what kinds of thoughts I’m having, like if it’s more anxiety driven I just completely lose my appetite, but if I feel down in a fed up way I boredom eat. So I find for me it really does just depend, although I try and be conscious of it and look after myself. I went on citalopram when my low moods got too much, only 20grams and now I’m off it, it really helped me in terms of getting my head around things so I could start rationalise my anxiety. I hadn’t suffered much with anxiety before 2018 and then it went cray cray. I can be really self hatey, and I’ve really pushed being my own best friend and being better to myself and nicer to myself and that has made a huge difference too. I found therapy really helped me to figure myself out too.

literally people who say that you're not stressed you just need to be thankful can go home. You can be thankful and have anxiety. You can understand people have it worse than you and have depression. You can have both.

Is that because of corona pandemic? I'm mentally unstable because of bad parenting, depression, victim of bullying, betrayed by family and so on I can't explain everything here but I never give up and I have hope for a better future I have to live for those who needs me/loves me I need to end poverty and I need to stand beside those weaklings who can't fight for themselves and so on that motivates me. hope you'll find it inspiring.

Thank you Jesse for being so open and honest about mental health! It’s wonderful to see positive people in social media be real about their internal struggles. I struggle with anxiety and anxiety induced depression. It’s a real struggle between being positive for yourself and your loved ones and hiding in your bed and saying Feck the world!! I appreciate you and RTGAME (Randel Taniel Game) speaking out and basically being real with all of us! You guys are just like us and even though most people might not think so, we are just “two hundred thousand lost souls, swimming in a fish bowl, year after year” much love and prosperity for years to come!! - all the love from Ohio

I realize you have to think about which videos are "successful" and which aren't when youtube is your job, but calling some videos flops just sounds so wrong to me. :( Not every video is going to appeal equally to a large audience, but it can still be a great video. It still has value.

Honesly, i've barelly been watching youtube videos anymore because of my own mental health (can't pay attention), but the few times i do find the energy to go and watch something, your videos tend to be one of my 1st choices. There's just something really wholesome about you? My english is not great, so at times i have trouble understanding what is said, but even so i can't help but have a lot of fun watching your content. So thank you for everything! And also... I think you're doing the right thing by focusing on you! And you're still you no matter what you play, so i'm sure we'll all have an amazing time even if it has nothing to do w/ the sims. Please continue to take care of yourself. You're precious!
