The news reporter is just playing dumb or being naive as if broadcasters wouldn't demand compensation if there was a contract breach and suddenly there were no matches on Saturday morning, or if the best teams played at the same time to give them more time between games but causing the schedule to have less interesting teams playing in other times of the week. Broadcasters would force the leagues hand to keep things as they are, otherwise, sponsors would demand their money back from broacasters. Adapting to this new reality has its costs and no one at the top wants to pay for it, so they make teams and players pay for it.

I support a championship team and like liverpool but i dont agree with klopp on these issues. I understand why hes annoyed, he wants to protect his players but allowing 5 subs gives an advantage to clubs with quality depth unlike burnley who can just about field 11 semi-competent players. On the schedule, i dont believe players cant play with this sort of congestion and wednesday-sat afternoon games. Give them rest from training, dont play them, rest players for cups, invest better, dont moan about playing 3 hours earlier when youve had 2 days off. Its like liverpool just buy players with the physical profile of ledley king.

How people are saying the interviewer is rude and condescending is beyond me. When someone has his facts straight and knows what they're talking about the truth is always going to appear 'rude' because the other person is in an inferior position. Also, how can say he takes it personally - he simply has a job to do and is contracted to the role so he's taking it as an attack on the company he works for rather than him personally.
