This is childhood me's worst nightmare. I remember once I accidentally left the game unpaused, and then later that day I was terrified to get back on the computer again. I was like eight years old and my mom wanted me to do something on the computer for her and I said "I can't get on the computer" and she was so confused. 😂 But, it all turned out fine, somehow my Sims weren't dead lol. (this was back in the days of the Sims 1, I'm old lol)

This brought back a memory of me in 5th grade with my friend Zach playing the sims 2 at his house. We left to go to the corner store for like two hours and left the game on, and when we came back all of the sims were GONE. Not dead, but just straight up nobody was left on the lot, no characters selected, we had no idea what happened.

Man I miss The Sims 2. Recently built a PC but had so much trouble getting Sims 2 to install properly and run without crashing and I eventually gave up. Then, Sims 4 went on sale for 50% off so I finally made the move, bought a few expansion and stuff packs, and now I’m loving it. Will always hold Sims 2 in a special place though. I own every physical copy of every expansion/stuff pack! Maybe one day I’ll get it working again
