Thing about the money situation, Liverpool won the CL and Premier League and are badly affected by COVID in terms of revenue as well so even a size of Liverpool's stature are badly effected. The transfer for Thiago is an example in footballing terms its actually a great price 30m euros but they wont pay that much. Funny enough Bayern are looking for his replacement and im hearing that they want his replacement for cheaper too so its a lot of clubs bar Chelsea are struggling in the market.

Never liked the idea of a club leaving its spiritual home. Don't think the Man City move to their stadium is relatable cuz oil money. But that's just my take, I'd rather see my club in the Championship but playing in Green Road, Upton Park. I honestly think part of liverpool's appeal is they get to say ''THIS IS ANFIELD''. It means something, that club is there to stay. Like when you say I'll support my club till I die, it will also be there for you. Of course I get that sometimes a stadium move is unfortunately inevitable (and necessary), sometimes it's not, or you would at least maintain an atmosphere, or something else, that gives the fans a sense of belonging. Arsenal have felt their move, and they got to the CL Final at their last season in Highbury. A stadium move doesn't mean HUGE success. But at least they kept it in the same neighborhood (albeit their stadium doesn't have a good atmosphere). I don't think it was a GREAT move, even if it is successful, but West Ham doesn't even have the same neighborhood, they abandoned their home, and it's way too different from what the club's image was. Quite sad to see it happen, I, as a Brazilian, quite enjoyed the club, and now I just think ''what's the point of enjoying West Ham now?'' (although I did not support it, I only support my childhood club, from Rio)

Paying off Pellegrini’s contract must have cost 10m, Wilshire cost us 5m per year without even playing. We were all backing the Pellegrini move and he was a massive failure who spent a lot of money on a lot of players and most of them were flair players with little defensive ability. Spencer mate there’s no comparison between our two clubs. Your Making the argument of attendance when we pack out our stadium week in week out as do you, that does not mean your a big club or a small club, history makes that. And if you followed football before the premier league was a thing you would know are history is ten times your history as a club, there’s no comparison. Your somewhere between 10th and 20th biggest club in England, we are 5th biggest club in England. There’s no debate in terms of club size, we also have a much bigger following globally like the states due to players like Tim Howard and Landon Donovan being at the club for many years and especially in South America and have done for many many years.

Completely agree with Seb's point on enjoying Championship season more than the Premier League. Obviously the dream is to be at the highest level possible but for the 'Other 14' in the Premier League it's can be a bit boring aiming to finish 7th at best every year
