I’m just saying paralives art style is very cheap and you say they won’t change it so I’m 100% sure the game won’t successful for long time because if you take a look at games like “project ragnarok/Odin Valhalla risen” you will see a game that cross platform phone/pc maybe console with massive multiplayer and they look much better then paralives art style so if someone successfully make game that look much better then paralives on phone there is a big problem. Yes you can not agree with me and say the team is little and don’t have much money but it’s not making the game better then expansive game to make. Btw black desert was the first game that pearl abyss made so they probably ain’t had a lot of money at that time ago and the game look great with great graphics/art style. Just answer me on one thing do you think people will play paralives as it look rn if the sims 5 will look like crimson desert? Btw the name paralive really bad for marketing and kinda mean nothing. @Veronica·Mangozjebka black desert work even on really weak pc in some settings you talking about things you don’t know. My friend had pc that he buy 10 years ago and the game work fine for him better even from older games unless games like blade and soul that poor optimazed and lag all the time

Graphics look good, taking into account that the team is working on optimizing the game to make it run on laptops and lower end computers. Black desert requires you to have at least Windows 10 and other high specifications, Paralives is supposed to work on minimum starting from Windows 7. Paralives is going to be medium poly.

No, because EA doesn’t own the life simulation genre. They could only sue for stuff exclusive from The Sims, like plumbobs, Sims characters, world names, freezer bunny, etc

I really want to be as excited for this game as everyone else, but honestly I’m not going to buy an entire new game.. just to basically keep playing the sims ? Like yes, paralives shows off having colour wheels, and little detail animations, and whatever But like If that’s all you want the game for, then you’re just getting the game cause you’re mad at E.A for not giving you those little things Like I’m mad they don’t listen to us too, but like I’m not about to go drop my money on a new game that’s exactly like one I already own 🤷‍♀️

Each game has its own thing, is not the same playing Sim City and City Skylines. Some people play both, some prefer one of them. Once the game is finished you’ll see if you like that different thing that Paralives has to offer, and if you don’t, then you do you and play the game you like. In my case I like that they’re offering Seasons and Pets on base game because I never liked to pay expansion packs for things that could be on base game.

It’s a way of seeing it. Normally, people who like a game genre, have lots of games from that genre, the issue is that The Sims has been the only game doing this type of life simulation. If people would only buy one game from each genre, there would only exist like 15 games

I hope the same happens that happend with simcity and cities skylines to sims and paralives

Not yet, the game is still in pre-alpha which is early development, they’ll probably say at least the year once they are further on development

When this comes put I hope EA won’t keep on thinking we are there money makers because for example TS4 seasons sold sooo many copies it gave EA 3,000,000 or 300,000 I can’t remember but what I am trying to say is TS4 is selling exspansion packs and game packs for a ton of money and is simmers just buy because we think it will make the game better but I might not be what you think or it is a complete SCAM for the really big reasons and also the sims 4 with a few exspansion packs like Discovery university and cats and dogs stuff like that and jungle adventure all that has been reused from previous sims games and sometimes there not even as fun like cats and dogs all you get is CATS AND DOGS but on the sims 3 (unleashed) we got soo many animals butterflies horses CATS AND DOGS and evening a freaking unicorn. I don't expect paralives to be anything like the Sims but that is why I am excited for it. It is interesting to finally see another life simulator because I haven't actually seen any other than Sims and I want something new. :)

even though I'm a big simmer fan, I will buy this game when it's released, they have a few things sims took out of there game, like the burglar.

Just the fact that you can opt to take off shoes in the house is getting me hyped! Sims needs a mod to do that for every game and even those mods (bless the modders) aren't perfect. I also love the naming system!!! So excited!!!

One thing I hope paralives develops that i cannot live without is the multitasking aspect of Sims 4. It makes it so hard to play the older games once you become accustomed to your sims being able to do two or three things at once.

I hope they release some sort of demo or beta before the final release, if so I will try it and probably chuck my money at it

My thing with paralives right now is that it's doing so much that sims just isn't and I'm looking forward to it putting a little pressure on the sims team to get their assets into gear. I don't expect paralives to have AAA game quality... But I expect Sims to at least do better than an indie game... And at the moment that's not looking like it's going to happen...

EA might have multi million dollars on it’s side, but the Paralives team seems to have something EA doesn’t. The prioritizing of making a great product for the user. The sims team themselves feels that way, no doubt I’m sure! But EA.. their bosses, the big wigs directing the team, they just wan the dolla dolla bills from us. And i think it shows in the products. A good game always thinks of the player and gameplay. Even if Paralives is rough around the edges in comparison, I feel confident it can fill the void in the sims games we’ve been feeling. A lack of giving the players what they actually want.

Customising day and night cycle I feel like is so huge and important if you live anywhere like up north for example where you basically have no daylight during the winter and no darkness during summer. Just can make is more realistic u know.
