*12 minutes with shy, submissive self conscious cabbie with PTSD* | *LADbible* . So it all started with Anita hailing a ride in my cab.. few years back. . She said... do not slam the brakes if you hear me blurt 'cats'.. because that's merely a Tourette's thingy. . We are cruising fine for 10 minutes.. and i hear CATS!!!! i do not take much notice as i remember Anita's heads up. . But Anita tells ..stop the effin' car.. you just ran over a family of kittens and their mum🐺. . so yeah.. that is the story of my PTSD. I went through the trsuma, the pain... but i do not hold it agsinst Anita anymore!

I wonder if Anita is aware the psilocybin the psycho active compound found in hallucinogenic mushrooms has been found in doing what one might call a system reset. Paul Stamets, a leading authority in the world of mycology suffered from a bad stuttering problem and discovered after a trip on mushrooms as a late teen that it had almost performed a system reset, and from there on out Paul barely stuttered again......

I would definitely date you. Knowing that you have Tourettes would, for me, bypass any awkwardness. You're pretty, you're apparently smart. I"m thinking that the conversation would be interesting.

Her ticks are kinda cute :-)
2 timer sidenཞıƈƙ ƈ-137
So far from the two videos I've seen of her it seems like her tics really go along with her anxiety and what I would assume to be her subconscious. Like how she cursed when she spoke about hee cursing as a child, you can tell she feels remorse for causing stress on her parents and then BAM, a tic hits. I'm pointing this out because shes not dumb, she's incredibly smart and im sure she noticed this long ago, yet still she decided to speak on the subject and raise her anxiety more, most likely experiencing more tics while doing this. (Of course this is just my view from these two videos, I'm not pretending to be a dr or anything, just trying to point out how hard it would be to speak on this and be in her profession) Incredibly strong person and everyone can learn from her

She is beautifully spoken with such a soothingly warm voice pulling off those sometimes surprising vocalisations with dignity and grace. I am glad she found a self acceptance and contentedness.

Her whistles and tics are amazing. They sound so clear and well placed that they almost sound like sound effects. This lady seems so well adjusted and kind despite her harsh treatment.

The irony of the film makers bowdlerising her speech is pitiful. It removes any credibility from LADbible TV. What did she say about context? SHAME ON YOU.

The first quarter may have started out rough, but, I think it's safe to say that Anita is well on her way to winning the game of life. I watched this over my lunch break and really cannot put into a short concise statement the amount of pride (and possibly a little jealousy) I have in her for overcoming this. This should be required watching for anyone with self-esteem issues. Anita, you are a hero.

Dag sidenAgent Smith
I read the other day that a journalist tried to slam Mikhaila Peterson for going to multiple doctors for her father to get a proper diagnosis. The reporter was like 'You're not a medical professional and took your initiative to get a proper diagnosis. That doesn't make sense.' It does make sense. From own experience trying to get something a bit rare diagnosed can be a years-long process. Glad for the lady, it probably has its challenges but in the grand scheme of things is no big deal. She's really cool to do an interview.

Honestly, I didn't know in how many varieties Tourettes comes in before learning about her and watching a few of her streams. I always thought people with tourette's just yelled words like "fuck" really loud and stuff. And how can you be a medical professional and misdiagnose someone with *obvious signs* that something isn't quite right and call it attention seeking?

my brother struggled with Tourettes growing up. It is very much under control now, thankfully, but it was rough when he was young. he is my best friend and I felt so much anger most of my youth for how others would stare at him. I understand that unusual behaviors attract attention, but I just wish people kept their stares brief or to themselves.

Alot of people don't understand that her vocal tics are not something she's subconscious about. That If she says it that it means something to her. In reality it's completely random, it's like another being speaking for you.
Dag sidenInceneration! Beware
Twitch Doesnt allow you to use their platform. They are forced to let you do it. Else they are discriminating against sick people. I myself does not care at all if people calls me a bitch or anything disturbing. To me that only shows that people doesnt have feelings on their own or that they decided when they were young to be pathethic. Now people with a disease is a whole other story. They do not insult you intentionally, same thing goes with people with cancer. Aint their fault they got mentally ill and started dying. They cant just reverse it!
Dag sidenHybrid Spektar

Hearing that story about her initial attempts to go to the doctor sounds about right. Women don't really get much respect when seeking medical help, compound that ontop of her being young and that was a sure deal for her time to be wasted. Unfortunate.

Tourette's is so annoying, so frustrating, oftentimes so painful. And yes, people definitely make fun of you, and question you, and badger you. Nice to see other people who have it because it is so isolating. It isn't always smacking yourself and swearing randomly.

You know how when you get a song stuck in your head and you keep singing it in your head and you just gotta listen to it as though you're scratching a mental itch? Also like how scratching a mosquito bite makes you want to scratch it more? It looks to me like not only does she have a mental itch, but she has far more of them and has far less strength to ignore the mental itch. She NEEDS to scratch it so much that she can't stop it. I haven't studied the condition, but I'm curious if there's a therapy to build up tolerance to these mental itches. Could a person start with wanting to scratch mosquito bites, but practicing not scratching it? Would that start building up a resistance to itches in general, which can lead to mental itches?

9:57 "Until Twitch bans me because I have the "N" word tick." This is really significant. She kind of explained why she might get away with it so I'm not sure now... does the social ban on the "N" word (unless you're black), trump the victim status of tourettes?

If people only knew they would be shocked what is in my mind shocked
